Ethiopia is a country with many new industrial opportunities, that finds itself as a collection of many distinct ethnic and religious minority groups. Many large corporations such as Coca Cola have sought out investment in this diverse country for their manufacturing needs. To actively navigate the socio-political structures, one must understand the importance of religious and ethnic traditions to the citizen body, and also understand that separation is based more on tribe and religion than ethnicity and race. Ethiopia also suffers from a major problem of kidnapping rituals in marriage practices, with up to 70% of marriages still following this differentiated custom.
